Ten acres of prairie and woods provide spacious grounds, and the two outdoor labyrinths, both Cretan and Chartes styles, provide places for walking meditation. In the warmer weather, you can swim in the in-ground pool, play volleyball and basketball, and hang around in the hammock. White Lotus Retreat Center's simple décor and nurturing environment affords a quiet respite from the busyness of everyday life. With 5 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms, we can comfortably house 8-12 people (up to 16 when sharing beds and using the futon sofas). The 24’ x 30’ great room has a heated laminate wood floor, ideal for yoga, dance and other forms of movement. And the kitchen is stocked with dishes, pots and pans for meal preparation. We are located in southwestern Michigan, an easy drive from several Midwestern cities, and less than one hour from the Kalamazoo/Battle Creek, Grand Rapids or South Bend airports. We are only a 10-minute drive from the lovely town of South Haven and its marina, beaches and restaurants.
