The immune system is your body's defense system against foreign invaders. If it is not working properly you may experience frequent colds and flu, slow healing of wounds, andiasis or thrush, recurring bacterial infections.
To boost immunity correct nutrition is very important. Limit sugar in all its forms, eat garlic and foods containing zinc or take zinc supplements.
Adaptogenic herbs may be useful. Sutherlandia, Echinacea, astragalus, golden seal and shiitake mushrooms are all available as supplements.
A simple tip - take a cold shower daily. This will improve your circulation and stimulate the immune system. ;)

I didn't know that sugar consumption has some sort of effect on the bodys immune system.
