FYI

Traditionally a spa has been thought of as a way of healing using thermal springs. Today the term "spa" refers to a combination of therapy for the body, mind and spirit that includes every holistic treatment - from yoga to ayurvedic massage.

Our world is abundant in natural hot and cold mineral springs, rockpools, oceans, seas, rivers and lakes. The spa is emerging as one of the fastest growing "industries" in our culture, reflecting a surging interest in health and wellbeing. In fact, the renaisance of the SPA could be seen as the new therapy for the 21st century.

There are various types of spas, day spas that offer mini-retreats in which people on the run can have a moment to breathe and come back to the self, away from the fast pace of the city, and health spa resorts, which range from simple bungalows in Balinese villages to the luxurious surrounds of five-star resorts. Treatments available at these spas are a journey in themselves - enabling you to enter a whole new world  if sensory divinity. Therapists trained in th wisdom of ancient ayurvedic facials, massage, body polishes, glows, wraps, scrubs and exfoliations give your being an inner shine and your skin an outer glow, Many spas also offer a menu of holistic healing therapies such as yoga, acupunture, Pilates, Tai Chi, massage, reflexology, and reiki.

Bali, the "island of the Gods" and Thailand are popular spa destinations.

Take care to select a spa that offers the highest quality, petrochemical-free products that are applied by well trained therapists. Incorporate balance into your life by including a daily regime of inner-health maintenance. Exercise and eat nutritous food as slowly as you can.  Invest time in developing yourself.

:)These are the FIRST STEPS steps in living a spa healthy lifestyle to help enrich your LIFE!
