reservation at this spa resort As an all inclusive spa resort in Jamaica, the spa treatment facility at The Caves is located in an open-air gazebo overlooking the ocean, offers a small but unique selection of Aveda spa treatments and products. An arrangement of coral stairs and walkways lead to a saltwater pool, hot tub, Jacuzzi, sun decks, grottos, hammocks, and a large cave furnished and lit for leisure. Guest of The Caves may climb down ladders into the sea for swimming. For the adventurous, try jumping off the cliffs and through blowholes into the sea!

All watersports can be arranged at the front desk at The Caves. Try the Banana Boat or Glass Bottom Boat Rides, or even a private boat charter with Deep Sea fishing. Arrange a romantic island picnic, or venture out into the clear waters with parasailing. Negril Scuba Centre and Dolphin Divers offers day and night dives. The caves can also arrange for reef snorkeling tours, horseback riding, hiking, or sky diving adventures. Bicycles, cars, jeeps, and floating equipment are all available as well. The main gazebo has an excellent sound system with a wide selection of CDs and cassettes, various board games and book at your disposal. A TV and VCR is available upon request, and access to a small video library.

Although only a few miles from the bustling Negril strip, the private enclave of The Caves is a world apart. Ten hand-crafted wood and stone thatched-roof cottages are interwoven between two lush acres with cavernous caves. The Caves is perched above Negril’s natural volcanic formed caves overlooking the Caribbean Sea. The walls of the cliffs feature a series of grottos with ancient fossilized marine life for guests to explore. Below the caves the water plunges down to depths of 30 feet and a tropical reef system comes right up to the edge of the caves, perfect for snorkeling.

Authentic Jamaican cuisine is served daily for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the open-air gazebo. Head chef, Joy Miller, gets rave reviews for her sumptuous home-style cooking which is fresh, healthy, hearty, and delicious. Fresh fruits and juices are offer throughout the day from the open-air bar, as well as snacks like mixed nuts, pastries, biscuits, and chips.
